Octamix

The JBT Marel Octamix breaks apart frozen blocks of vegetables formed in the storage chamber. A descending arm penetrates the frozen mass inside boxes or octabins, gently fragmenting the material without damaging the produce.

The system is suitable for frozen produce handling before downstream processing, mixing, or packing. Its balanced design helps minimize vibration, while side and front protections support safe operation.

The Octamix is suitable for all frozen produce. Cycle time is typically 1–5 minutes, depending on the container, product, and Octamix version. It uses low rotation speed to protect product integrity and is equipped with its own hydraulic system.

The Octamix includes reinforced chassis and agitators, full side and front protections, safety guards, adjustable width and height, and its own hydraulic system.

The Octamix is available in manual-load or automatic roller-feed versions. Width and height are adjustable for different containers.
