Information

The C-III counterflow screw chilling system is made up of three-meter sections and can be supplied in one or two bath executions.

Products and chilling medium enter at opposite ends. Products are conveyed by screw into ever colder and cleaner ice water or flake ice water. Water in the system is agitated by introducing air, whose volume can be adjusted to give the level of water pick-up required.

The system can be fitted with an independently driven ejector. This ensures a constant stream of product from the system and makes the manual re-hang of products to a drip or subsequent air chilling line that much easier!

  • Optional dripping drum to save space
  • Pass time 40-60 minutes
  • Off-line system
