ACM Wingstick Module

Information

The ACM Wingstick module processes wings into wingsticks, fully automatically and in line. The wing is picked up by guides and stretched. A static knife makes an incision between the first and second joints. After that a guide bends the second joint from the first joint leaving the cartilage capsule attached to the second joint.

A rotating blade cuts the second joint from the first joint, leaving the bone on the first joint exposed to act as a “handle”. The first joint is now ready to be harvested as a wingstick in a wing cutting module.

  • The Wingstick module can be supplied with a manual or automatic raising and lowering mechanism to switch the module in or out of line.
  • Fine height adjustment during production, which will be determined by the size of product handled, is done in both instances by turning an adjustment wheel.
  • Optional chute for unloaded wingsticks
  • As standard, driven by the overhead conveyor. Option for an additional overhead conveyor drive motor
