Water bath stunner

JBT Marel's water bath stunners for ducks use electricity to guarantee effective stunning. The ducks are guided through an electrically charged water bath, where the infeed plate ensures effective stunning. The water bath stunning process can handle even the highest line speeds.

The AC voltage of the stunner is infinitely variable and complies with the statutory rules and regulations applicable to the stunning voltage in different countries.

The height of the stunner can quickly and easily be adjusted to the different sizes of the ducks. On top of that, the water bath has an automatic level control.

After stunning, the necks are cut so the ducks can bleed out. Electrical stunning is an excellent preparation for applying an accurate bleeding cut, enabling consistent, perfect bleeding.
