A conveyor belt is not just a simple means of transport for getting product from A to B. The modular SystemFlex conveyor system creates an interactive logistic environment, maintains product quality and optimizes process integration.
Components
Basic standardized components are available for different widths, for conveying unpacked poultry meat and trays, in two basic frame sizes and are suitable for two belt types.
These components can be used to build up virtually every desired configuration and include belt support frames, bends, ups and downs, drive and return sections, belt washers and other optional functions. What is more, a clever coupling method allows a wide range of available accessories and add-ons, such as work surfaces, work stations, switches, knife holders, catch plates, product- and tray guides, to be attached to the system.
No two alike
By using functional modular building blocks, SystemFlex allows for the most flexible set-up possible, from small to large scale. Each plant has its own SystemFlex layout. Tailor-made to its needs. This means that no two SystemFlex systems are alike.
Food safety
Food safety is an overriding concern when conveying products through the plant. Besides bringing products safely and hygienically to the next process step, SystemFlex also reduces human contact with the product by automatically positioning products correctly for in-feed into a downstream machine.
Product integrity
The more “bare meat” is moved around during the process, the more it loses its protein, the shorter its shelf life will be. The proper, careful handling by SystemFlex ensures full product integrity. Bad transfer points, misaligned machines and incorrectly adjusted belts are the main reasons for product damage, and therefore, financial loss. Conveyed by SystemFlex, however, products virtually don’t risk damage, loss, bulking or bacterial contamination and keep their optimum quality level.
Integration
SystemFlex takes care of all internal logistics, offering a single solution for all fresh meat and tray transport. All equipment in between can seamlessly be incorporated in the SystemFlex network. Completed with JBT Marel food processing software, an intelligent logistical integration becomes reality, going far beyond a common conveyor set-up.
