SmartLine Graders offer the speed and accuracy of previous generations of JBT Marel Graders, with greatly enhanced hygiene and serviceability. With its complete modular design, the SmartLine can be configured to meet your grading and batching needs.

Open frame hygienic design

The SmartLine Grader has an IP69K rating and can be stripped down and reassembled in seconds both trouble-free and effective to maximize uptime.

To ensure food safety it´s unique open frame design and minimal horizontal surfaces ensure maximum hygiene during high-pressure wash-down.

Single, dual and twin lane

The SmartLine Grader is available in single, dual and twin lane configurations to accommodate each capacity and application need.

A Single lane SmartLine Grader can have receiver gates at both sides of its belt.

The Dual Lane SmartLine Grader features two belts, each with their own independent row of output bins on the side, handling higher capacities.

The Twin Lane custom configuration enables optimum batching performance from two separate streams of raw material, e.g. different sizes. The two belts work together to produce specified batches. Products are discharged in bins or chutes between the two belts. This setup has a significant impact on the batching performance as it allows the batching algorithm to select individual items from a wider selection of raw material to produce the required orders with minimal giveaway.

Monitor and control grading

The JBT Marel Software solution for grading lets you monitor and control your processing in real time. The software provides live dashboards showing data for key performance indicators such as weight distribution, giveaway and throughput. They give you a clear overview of actual production and highlight where improvements can be made or whether any corrective action needs to be taken to ensure production is running optimally. Remote program management allows you to control grader settings directly from the office.
