MIXgrind

JBT Marel has a wide range of mixer-grinders caracterized by a sturdy and hygenic design. The standard range consists of machines with 1,000 liter volume/ø200 mm grinding head and 1,500 to 4,000 liter volume with ø250 mm grinding heads.

The MIXgrind with double shaft intermeshing mixing system is specifically designed for industrial use. The paddles/wings are overlapping which ensures a quick, gentle end homogeneous mixing process.
The machine is equipped with a robust grinding unit, ensuring high capacity and an excellent product. Optionally, the grinder can be equipped with a bone elimination system.

As a standard, JBT Marel's mixer-grinders are equipped with interlocked safety cover over the grinding head, crane for easy removal of grinder parts, and trolley for accessories. The electric control unit is based on panel view PLC system which gives the operator easy access to choosing automatic preset mixing programs or run it manually.

As optional extras, JBT Marel offers a wide range of equipment such as CO2 injection etc.

The robust machine housing is made in heavy duty AISI 304 stainless steel and designed without corners or edges in order to facilitate cleaning. Thus the mixer-grinder meets the strictest hygiene requirements. The screw and screw housing are made from stainless steel as well.

The MIXgrinder can be a stand alone machine, or part of an integrated processing line.
