Aurora Packing and JBT Marel celebrate ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new beef processing facility

JBT Marel joined Aurora Packing Company in celebrating the ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new state-of-the-art processing facility in Illinois, marking the successful completion of a nearly two-year partnership between the two companies.

The new facility features an integrated suite of JBT Marel equipment and software, engineered seamlessly together to enhance efficiency, food safety, and traceability across Aurora Packing’s latest beef processing operation. Spanning the full process from live animal receiving through finished product output, the facility showcases JBT Marel’s primary offerings for the beef industry in North America.  By combining JBT Marel’s advanced hardware and software, the installation gives Aurora Packing real-time visibility and control over its production processes – helping the company boost throughput, reduce waste, and deliver consistent, high-quality product to its customers. 

For the JBT Marel team, the ribbon-cutting represents more than the completion of an installation, it reflects nearly two years of close collaboration across sales, project management, engineering, service and software teams, working together with colleagues around the globe to bring the project to fruition.
